Arts are ingrained in Saint Petersburg's culture.  We have a unique set of art museums highlighted by the Dali Museum (Largest collection of Salvador Dali art in North America), the Museum of Fine Arts, the Florida Holocaust Museum, the Chihully Collection, the Morean Center for Arts, Tom James's Southwestern Art Museum (Under Construction), and Rudy Cicierro's American Craft Art Museum (Under Construction).

Besides our incredible museums, we have an authentic, grass roots artist movement throughout our city with multiple arts districts including the Warehouse Arts District where artists are allowed live in their warehouses.  Learn more about St. Petersburg's arts scene with the Creative Directory from the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance and the Warehouse Arts District Association.

COOKIE-CUTTER, ST. PETERSBURG IS NOT
Saint Petersburg is atypical from the typical Florida city because it was founded in the late 1800's and it contains a lot of historic buildings and houses that were built before the 1930's.  If you like history and unique historic buildings with character, St. Petersburg is a great place for you!
